When I was younger I wanted to be... an airline pilot.

But I am glad I became a market manager because... it gives me great satisfaction knowing that I can help others design and build their dream homes.

Most people don't know that I... have run six half marathons and one full marathon.

The best compliment I've received... was from older children of a previous customer who thanked me for taking care of their elderly parents during a difficult time in their lives.

My latest adventure... was taking the family to Cox Farms where my son kept me busy in the pumpkin patch.

What's the best advice you have given or received... My sixth grade teacher told our class to treat others how you would like to be treated, and that has stuck with me.

Other people always comment on my... ability to see the positive in any situation.

I hope to one day... tour the U.S. in an RV, taking as much time in different cities to appreciate our great countryside.

Joe joined the Drees team in 2016 after a career in home and private jet sales as well as restaurant management. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Nevada. Joe resides in Aldie, VA, with his wife and their three children.
