When I was younger I wanted to be... a buyer for a large fashion house or an editor for a fashion magazine.

But I am glad I became a market manager because... being a market manager allows me to work with new home buyers to help them select and build the home of their dreams.

When I want to unwind, I... read a magazine or have a glass of wine in front of the fire on our covered rear porch.

Other people always comment on my... collection of unusual jewelry. When I travel, I love to purchase one-of-a-kind pieces as a memento of where I have visited.

I've always wanted to... own a small coffee shop where I can also sell small antiques, unique jewelry and other collectibles.

Melanie began working for Drees Homes in 1994, after previously working in retail management and commercial aggregate sales. She is a member of the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati Home Builders Association and has earned Drees' 100% Achiever award. Melanie and her husband Barry have two children and currently live in a Drees neighborhood in Northern Kentucky.
