What floor plan did you choose?

We chose the Brookdale II and loved its two-story layout with an open concept and the modern farmhouse exterior. 

As you watched your home come to life, what have been your favorite features? 

We love the front porch and the added media room downstairs. We enjoy hosting and this was a great addition to the home. Plus, it extended our primary bedroom, giving it its own hallway. 

What did you enjoy most about the building process?

Our Market Manager John Benavides was so helpful throughout the process. It was so much fun watching our home being built from the ground up and John was always there to answer our questions and provide support. Our Builder Greg Edwards was quick to respond, and we felt like we were in good hands throughout the build. Our favorite part was the selections process though. Our Design Consultant Jessalyn Welch was attentive and helped us decide on functional upgrades while bringing our vision to life. 

What advice would you give others who are interested in building a home?

We really believe that choosing timeless is the best way to go instead of following heavy trends. Even throughout the building process, trends may change. What was popular in the summer could change by the fall. We recommend sticking with what you love and having a vision before your first appointment. 

Why did you choose to build with Drees?

We chose Drees because we were looking for a quality builder in a developing community where we can grow our family. We heard such great feedback from neighbors that we went with our gut and chose Drees. We always feel taken care of, even after moving in. Nick Mores in the Customer Care department has been very quick to resolve our tickets and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect.
