They'll work closely with you every step of the way to provide an exceptional experience in making the perfect choices for your new home.
Q: How can I prepare for my first visit to the Design Center?
A: Websites like Pinterest and even our own Idea Gallery on this site are great sources of inspiration. Driving around Drees communities to find exterior color schemes you like is also extremely helpful prior to making exterior finish selections.
Q: What if I can't find what I'm looking for?
A: In the event you are looking for a specific product Drees Homes does not offer, we may be able to submit a Custom Design Request (CDR) to obtain pricing for you. Please be aware that we cannot price all requests due to our construction standards and warranty requirements, but we will gladly work with you to adapt your home to suit your style and your needs.
At your design appointment, we'll review the options you've selected and suggest other possibilities for your home that you may not have considered. We'll cover:
- Kitchen and Bath Cabinets
- Granite Countertops
- Kitchen Backsplash
- Ceramic tile
- Powder Bath Selections
- Custom Cabinetry (built-ins, wet bars, etc)
- Interior Paint
- Interior Trim
- Fireplace & Mantels
- Door Hardware
- Bath Accessories
- Shower Enclosures
- High Tech Wiring
Roadmap to Selections
Once your Purchase Agreement has been ratified, the Design Center Coordinator will call you to set up your first design appointment. This is the first of two selection appointments that will last up to three hours. During this time, a Design Consultant will be reviewing the selections included in your contract and assist you in choosing the finishes for the exterior, kitchen, flooring, owner's bath, and powder bath.
During your second three-hour appointment, you'll be selecting interior paint colors, stair railings, door hardware, bath fixtures, drywall texture, fireplace mantles, carpet, interior trim, and fixtures for secondary baths.
Your Design Consultant will hold your selections for 48 hours. If you wish to make any revisions, you must contact your Design Consultant within 48 hours, and all revised selection forms must be signed and returned before the end of the business day.
