Fortune Media and Great Place to Work Name Drees Homes to the 2025 Best Workplaces in Construction List

Sep 09, 2025

Fort Mitchell, Ky. — Great Place To Work® and Fortune have selected Drees Homes for the 2025 Fortune Best Workplaces in Construction™ List. This is Drees Homes’ third time being named to this prestigious list, this year coming in at sixth place in the small and medium category. Earning a spot means that Drees Homes is one of the best companies to work for in the country.

The Best Workplaces in Construction award is based on analysis of survey responses from nearly 54,000 employees at Great Place To Work Certified™ companies in the construction industry.

Drees Homes Vice President of Human Resources Pamela Rader shared, “We are incredibly grateful to be recognized among the Best Workplaces in Construction and to rank #6 nationally. Our people are the heart of who we are, and it is through their dedication that we are able to deliver exceptional experiences and quality homes to our customers. By living out our CARE principles each day—Communication, Always doing what’s right, Relationships, and Exceptional quality—we ensure that every family we serve has an easy, memorable journey to a dream home they truly love.”

The Best Workplaces in Construction list is highly competitive. Great Place To Work, the global authority on workplace culture, determines its lists using its proprietary Trust Index™ Survey to evaluate and certify thousands of organizations in America’s largest ongoing annual workforce study, based on over 1.3 million survey responses and data from companies representing more than 8.4 million employees.

Survey responses reflect a comprehensive picture of the workplace experience. Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for employees regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status, or other demographic identifier.

“Congratulations to the Best Workplaces in Construction,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work. “In every industry, our research shows that investing in people drives productivity and higher revenues. When trust levels are high in an organization, people don’t fear AI — they embrace it.”

Drees Homes first became certified as a Great Place To Work in 2023. Since then, Drees has also appeared on the Fortune Best Medium Workplaces and Best Workplaces for Millennials lists.
