All of Drees' Universal Design ranch plans, including single floor townhomes, offer wide access from the front door into the owner's suite and bath, kitchen and laundry. Those include wider hallways and door openings, open plan designs for easy movement throughout, adequate interior circulation space between the kitchen island and counters, and wide access to laundry.

For those who desire more specialized accessibility features, Drees offers a wide range of options that can be incorporated into your home. We are happy to work with families to make their homes fit their unique needs. Some of the highly requested features include stepless entries (as allowed by the grade of the home site), zero threshold showers with reinforced walls to accommodate grab bars, roll-under bathroom vanities, comfort height counters and toilets, wider laundry rooms and toilet rooms, and family ready rooms with seating by the doorway to change your shoes.
