Jill Ellis
Design Center Director, Certified by the National Design Studio Institute

Jill joined Drees in 2020 to lead the new Drees Design Center. She brings more than 25 years of home building and design industry expertise to her role, including managing her own design business. A native Houstonian, she graduated from the Art Institute of Houston with honors. Jill is very active and loves spending time in the great outdoors with her husband and two children. 

Michelle Montreuil
Design Consultant, Certified by the National Design Studio Institute

Michelle brings more than 13 years of design expertise to her role as a Drees Design Consultant. Originally from New Orleans, she is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University. Michelle loves meeting new people and working with them to bring their style to life in their new home. Outside the office, she loves spending time with family, friends and her dog, Hank. She also enjoys cheering on her New Orleans Saints.

Melinda Sanders
Design Consultant, Certified by the National Design Studio Institute

Melinda brings more than 16 years of experience in new home construction and design industry to the Drees Design Center. She is a graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word with a B.A. in Interior Design. Melinda enjoys assisting buyers with creating beautiful and functional spaces in their homes. In her down time she loves working out and spending time with her husband, four kids and pit bull, Diesel.

Jessalyn Welch
Design Consultant, Certified by the National Design Studio Institute

Jessalyn is a design consultant at the Drees Design Center. She has been working in the design field for three years and has enjoyed space-planning and keeping up with interior design trends from a young age. Her continued interest in design while growing up led her to Stephen F. Austin State University where she graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Since then, she has enjoyed working for architects and designers in the College Station and Houston areas. In her free time Jessalyn enjoys playing a variety of music on her violin, trying out new baking recipes, rooting for the Houston Astros, and traveling with family and friends.
