Fortune Media and Great Place to Work Name Drees Homes to the 2026 Best Workplaces in Construction List

Oct 07, 2026

Fort Mitchell, Ky. — Great Place To Work® and Fortune have selected Drees Homes for the 2026 Fortune Best Workplaces in Construction™ List. This is Drees Homes’ fourth time being named to this prestigious list, this year coming in at sixth place in the small and medium category. Earning a spot means that Drees Homes is one of the best companies to work for in the country.

The Best Workplaces in Construction award is based on analysis of survey responses from nearly 64,000 employees at Great Place To Work Certified™ companies in the construction industry.

Drees Homes Vice President of Human Resources Pamela Rader shared, “Our culture has always been built around our people and the belief that how we treat one another carries through to how we serve our customers. Through our CARE principles, our employees are committed to communicating effectively, doing what’s right, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional quality. We’re incredibly proud of the culture they create every day and the difference that culture makes for our customers.”

The Best Workplaces in Construction list is highly competitive. Great Place To Work, the global authority on workplace culture, determines its lists using its proprietary Trust Index™ Survey to evaluate and certify thousands of organizations in America’s largest ongoing annual workforce study, based on over 1.3 million survey responses and data from companies representing more than 7.3 million employees.

Survey responses reflect a comprehensive picture of the workplace experience. Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for employees regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status, or other demographic identifier.

“Congratulations to the Fortune Best Workplaces in Construction,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work. “People are at the heart of work in every industry, and construction is no exception. These companies show how delivering for your people drives financial performance and turns fear of the future into the confidence to win.”

Drees Homes first became certified as a Great Place To Work in 2023. Since then, Drees has also appeared on the Fortune Best Medium Workplaces and Best Workplaces for Millennials lists.
